About The Eternal War

Leho Rebane’s only lifeline for the past four years has been one last letter written by his grandfather before he was murdered. While the letter instructed him to wait for his cousin’s arrival before diving headfirst into a war that started decades ago, their conflict with the kolumats doesn’t stop. With war on the horizon, Leho’s father, the clan’s appointed leader, has single-handedly begun to ruin their people’s faith in his family's ability to not only lead, but to keep them safe.

When Gabriel Johnson moves into the supposedly haunted campus of Georgian Court, he’s excited to start college and to be in one place, instead of shuffling back and forth between his parents. What he wasn’t expecting was meeting Leho, his cousin from his mother’s long-estranged family. While the idea of discovering that he has more family is exciting he’s shocked to learn he has untapped magical abilities too.

Gabriel’s initially overwhelmed and runs from Leho, but Gabriel is also fascinated by how the magic feels. Leho is persistent though and follows Gabriel in order to explain the gravity of their situation. After some thought, Gabriel agrees to join the clan his mother left over twenty years ago, and Leho and his friends help him learn how to use his magic. However, they’re quickly thrown into conflict as they face dark forces who want to enslave the mittemaagia, the ordinary people without magical gifts—and slaughter anyone who stands in their way. When bodies show up just outside of campus, one of their own goes missing, and the lives of their family are at risk, Leho and Gabriel begin to wonder if they can make a difference or if they are just the lost children their enemies think they are.
